Terms of Service

Welcome to SOUM HAUS.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) set out the agreement between you and SOUM HAUS regarding your use of our Services. They explain the rights and responsibilities of both our Members and SOUM HAUS and help us provide a safe, respectful and enjoyable environment for everyone.

By creating a Member account, purchasing a package, booking a class, attending a programme or otherwise using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Member Policies.

1. Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms:

Member means any individual who creates an account, purchases a package or membership, books or participates in any Service offered by SOUM HAUS.

Services means all classes, programmes, workshops, events and wellness experiences offered by SOUM HAUS, including but not limited to Jumping® Fitness, Resonance Sound Bath and any other fitness or wellness activities.

Member Policies means the policies published by SOUM HAUS from time to time, including:

• Participant Waiver, Release of Liability & Assumption of Risk Agreement
• Privacy Policy
• Membership & Package Policy
• Health Declaration & Pre-Exercise Questionnaire (PAR-Q)
• Studio House Rules
• Resonance Sound Bath Consent & Disclaimer (where applicable)

These Member Policies form part of these Terms.

2. Eligibility

Members must be at least 18 years of age to enter into these Terms.

Participants under the age of 18 may attend only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian and in accordance with the applicable Member Policies.

3. Member Responsibilities

Members agree to:

• Provide accurate and up-to-date registration information.
• Keep account details secure.
• Comply with these Terms and all Member Policies.
• Treat instructors, staff and fellow Members with courtesy and respect.
• Follow all reasonable safety instructions.
• Use the studio and equipment responsibly.

4. Health and Safety

Members are responsible for participating within their own physical capabilities.

Members should inform the instructor of any medical condition, injury or circumstance that may affect their safe participation.

All Members must complete the Participant Waiver before participating in the Services.

5. Bookings and Attendance

Bookings are managed through SOUM HAUS’s authorised booking platform.

Booking procedures, waitlists, cancellation rules, package usage and operational procedures are set out in the Membership & Package Policy.

SOUM HAUS reserves the right to modify class schedules, instructors, venues or Services where reasonably necessary for operational, maintenance or safety reasons.

6. Packages and Payments

Packages, memberships and promotional offers are subject to the Membership & Package Policy.

Unless otherwise required by law:

• All purchases are final.
• Packages and memberships are non-refundable.
• Promotional packages are subject to their stated validity period.
• Expired unused sessions will be forfeited.
• Package sharing is permitted only where expressly stated by SOUM HAUS.

Current package information is published through our official website and authorised booking platform.

7. Cancellation and No-Shows

Members are responsible for cancelling or rescheduling bookings within the timeframes specified in the Membership & Package Policy.

Late cancellations and no-shows may result in the deduction of a class credit or other consequences described in that Policy.

8. Changes to Services

SOUM HAUS may modify, suspend or discontinue any Service where reasonably necessary, including changes to:

• Class schedules
• Instructors
• Programmes
• Operating hours
• Studio facilities
• Equipment

Where practical, Members will be notified of material changes in advance.

9. Suspension or Termination

SOUM HAUS may suspend or terminate a Member’s account where the Member:

• Breaches these Terms or any Member Policy.
• Engages in abusive, threatening, discriminatory or unlawful behaviour.
• Endangers the safety or wellbeing of others.
• Damages studio property.
• Misuses membership or booking privileges.

Where appropriate, SOUM HAUS will endeavour to provide notice before taking such action.

10. Intellectual Property

All SOUM HAUS branding, logos, photographs, videos, educational materials, class content and other intellectual property remain the property of SOUM HAUS or its licensors.

No material may be copied, reproduced, distributed or used for commercial purposes without prior written consent.

11. Privacy

SOUM HAUS collects, uses and protects personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

By using our Services, you acknowledge that your personal data will be handled in accordance with that Policy.

12. Limitation of Liability

Participation in the Services is subject to the Participant Waiver, Release of Liability & Assumption of Risk Agreement.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded under the laws of the Republic of Singapore.

13. Force Majeure

SOUM HAUS shall not be liable for any delay, interruption or failure to provide the Services where such delay or failure is caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government restrictions, public health emergencies, utility failures or other unforeseen circumstances.

14. Changes to these Terms

SOUM HAUS may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be published through our official communication channels.

Your continued use of the Services after the updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
